SKYMART WORLDWIDE FAR EAST SUMMIT MEETING 2005
COLOMBO, SRI LANKA
Colombo, Sri Lanka was the venue for this year's Annual Summit Meeting of
The Skymart Worldwide System in the Far East and Indian Sub Continent held
on the 6th - 8th November 2005.
This was the first time that the event was held in Sri Lanka and the 29
delegates who attended from 16 different countries were unanimous in
confirming that it was the most successful yet. A number of key issues were
discussed including, the emerging Markets in China and India, improved
communications between system members and the benefits of reduced freight
charges through collective bargaining.
"Our summit meetings serve two purposes", says James Softley of Skymart
Worldwide. "Not only do they provide a platform for collective decision
making on global issues and overall policy but just as important they ensure
partners get together socially as well as professionally".
"The delegates attending are all decision makers and there is nothing better
than meeting someone face to face if you want to get something done. We are
in a global industry and the relationships that we build overseas are key to
our success".
"By using the Skymart Worldwide System, our customers know that they get the
benefit of the close personal attention that the large multi nationals often
fail to provide and they can get this on a worldwide basis."
